Shift ManagerPrimary Role:
A Shift Manager is responsible for the overall shift operations, customer experience, sales performance and execution of brand excellence in a store.
In the absence of the General Manager, the shift manager effectively is the store leader.
Shift managers typically supervise a shift with a staff of 1 to 12 team members by carrying out management responsibilities consistent with Jamba Juice policies, procedures and legal requirements.

GeneralResponsible for maintaining shift operations excellenceEnsures that the store appearance and cleanliness are to Jamba's standardsDemonstrates exceptional shift leadership behaviorsCommunicates all shift issues, concerns and needs to the store General ManagerResponds to directives in an accurate and timely mannerRecognizes and rewards outstanding performance of shift team membersEducate and engage the community and store customers on all of Jamba's products and servicesOther duties as assignedCustomer ServiceDemonstrates an excellent level of customer serviceMotivates and mentors team members to deliver customer service excellenceAccountable for the customer engagement experience on the shiftProvide customers with product suggestions and informationMotivates and mentors team members on providing customers with product suggestions and informationMaintain exceptional customer service metric scoresOperationsOpen and/or close the store as required.
Perform all safety and security tasks, i.

, alarms, two-person rule, as required to open and close the storeCoach, counsel and direct Team Members.
Lead the team in the execution of Jamba standards through Jamba On Stage to create an excellent customer experience.
Provide performance feedback to Team MembersLead and manage shifts while acting as manager in charge of store.
Deploy Team Members as required to meet business demands and make necessary staffing decisionsCommunicate clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective shift operationsFollow all food safety, cash handling and operations procedures and policiesCoordinate and participate off site program customer visits and deliveriesHuman ResourcesTrain and on-board new Team Members on both front- and back-of-house proceduresProvides construction performance feedback to the store team membersParticipate in the interviewing and hiring process for new team membersBusiness ManagementEnsure proper financial accountability during each shift.
Hand off shift to next manager in charge or ensure the store is closed properly for next day's opening manager.
Perform all cash handling requirements of a manager in charge including close-outs, safe accountability and cash drops.
Conduct inventories and process orders as required.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of ageMust be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week; must be able to work a variable shift (openings, midday shifts and closings) from week-to-weekAbility to manage others requiredHigh School graduate or commensurate Jamba experience required, enrolled in college or college degree preferredComputer skills including some Microsoft software and register skillsMust be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shiftsAbility to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shfitAbility to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40 F to -10 FAbout the Company:
